Sports Recovery
Existing procedures that are applied at Apollo Treatment Facility are indicated in the recovery from:
- posttraumatic lesions located in the spine, shoulder, elbow, fist, hand, fingers, hip, knee and ankle
- post-contusion states, sprains, dislocations, fractures
- injuries due to trauma localized in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, meniscus, soft parts
- peripheral nerve injuries, vertebro-medullary trauma
- tendinitis, tenosinovites, bursite, epicondylites
- herniated discs, spondylolistheses
- posttraumatic algoneurodysteroids
- degenerative disorders
- postoperative
These procedures can be applied both for primary prophylaxis, before and after sports competitions and for secondary prophylaxis.
The aims of these procedures:
- ameliorating the painful phenomenon
- achieving good quality articulation stability
- quick recovery of functional capacity
- restoring joint mobility
- restoring dynamic muscular control and balance
- treating articular rigidity and muscle hypotrophy
- restoring strength and muscular resistance
- correcting breathing deficit (if any)
- structuring a secondary prophylactic program adapted to each individual patient
